Since becoming a Realtor in 2003 I have represented Santa Cruz and Central Coast Real Estate buyers in attaining over $20 million in residential and investment properties throughout Santa Cruz and Monterey counties.
Within these transactions-and no two are ever the same- I have learned what Real Estate Buyers want from their agent. Market knowledge and proof of comparative value, price negotiation, thoroughness in inspections/investigations, and availability being the most important.
In my opinion, Santa Cruz County is as nice a place to live as any in on earth. The amazing varieties of landscape, intelligence and awareness of its people, and the overall quality of life make Santa Cruz like no other place I've known. I knew I belonged here on a visit to Santa Cruz at the age of eleven, and then moved here on my 18th birthday to attend college at UCSC in 1982.
After I graduated with degrees in economics and fine arts in 1986, I had to find a way to stay here. I began and then maintained a contracting business for the next fifteen years, working with homeowners, businesses, developers, inspectors, and other industry professionals.
I was finally able to realize my dream of buying my first home in Santa Cruz in 2001. I found the process so interesting that i chose to become a
Realtor. The contracting business brought me wide-ranging exposure to the variety of homes, neighborhoods, and people residing here and when I decided to become an Agent, I then took that experience and those connections with me into this job that i take great pride in performing at the highest possible level.
